Developing Communities Project logo

This is a 3 year project funded by Big Lottery Fund supporting and encouraging individuals, from disadvantaged groups, in community involvement in Lewes District.

The Developing Communities Project aims to support individuals in getting their voice heard through providing training, support and various platforms to create change in their community and society.

Comedy Workshop

As its final event, the Developing Communities Project will be hosting a one-day Positive Comedy Learning Workshop on Thursday 2nd July at Lewes Town Hall Council Chamber.

Have your say about issues that affect your life with the help of a little comedy!

This free workshop will include a host of games and activities drawn from the world of comedy and improvisation with the aim of helping participants in:-

Positive Comedy's comedian and trainer Gerry Maguire Thompson will run the workshop

The training is free and the Developing Communities Project will also cover the cost of travelling expenses and other access needs.

'What drives you wild?’ is the Developing Communities Project campaign to encourage people to tell us about their frustrations due to the difficulties they face in today’s society in terms of access, exclusion, discrimination, disadvantage, unfairness, misrepresentation etc. More information can be found on the campaign website www.whatdrivesyouwild.co.uk
