YouthBank
If you’ve got a great idea but need the cash to make it happen, then YouthBank could be just the thing for you.
The next round of East Sussex County Council’s YouthBank is open and young people are being urged to bid for money. The YouthBank gives young people the chance to apply for anything from £500 to £5,000 towards youth projects and services which will improve things to do and places they go in their community. Young people are involved at every stage – they put forward their ideas and bid for funding, a panel of young people decides which projects should get the cash and then the young people themselves enjoy the projects.
The closing dates for 2010 applications are 12 noon:
Friday 9 April
Friday 4 June
Friday 15 October
Friday 3 December
If you want tips or advice on how to make a good application call Tracey Johnson, YouthBank Coordinator, on 01424 726086. For an application form and more information visit: www.connexions360.org.uk/youthbank or email youthbank@eastsussex.gov.uk
