Quality Assurance

Quality Assurance is about checking that your group or organisation is doing the work it has set out to do and doing it well, to your satisfaction, as well as the satisfaction of your members, clients and/or funders. There are many quality assurance models or toolkits available and there may be one developed specifically for your type of organisation, but if not, Pqasso is one of the best known general models. Pqasso was designed by the Charities Evaluation Services for small and medium sized voluntary and community group. It is self-assessed and focuses on getting your internal paper work, policies and monitoring right. The best place for more information is the Charities Evaluation Services web-site: PQASSO

If you are a group or organisation based in Lewes District and would like to discuss Pqasso or other options for quality assurance, please e-mail: policy@southdownscvs.org.uk or phone (01273) 483832.
