Wealden Community Network (ComNet)
The Community Networks bring together people from the voluntary and community sector, with statutory partners to share information and experience and become involved in local partnership work.
The Community Networks provide an opportunity to have a real impact on the issues which affect us all, such as Health, the Environment, Education, the Local Economy etc. It also acts as a means of consulting the voluntary sector for statutory bodies recording needs and seeking views. The Community Network organises conferences and administers small grants.
Through the Community Network voluntary sector representatives are represented on a number of partnership bodies, including the Lewes and Wealden District Health Partnerships, LSP and Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership for example.
